Techiman South: Don’t vote ‘skirt and blouse’ – Mahama tells supporters

Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has urged party supporters to avoid voting “skirt and blouse” in the upcoming December elections.

He emphasised the importance of voting for both the NDC’s presidential and parliamentary candidates to ensure a unified government.

During a mini rally at Twimia Nkwanta in the Bono East Region, Mahama stressed that electing NDC parliamentary candidates alongside the presidential candidate is essential for securing a majority in Parliament and advancing the party’s national development agenda.

Mahama attributed the party’s previous election loss to disunity and appealed to supporters to vote for both the parliamentary and presidential candidate.

He said, “We did not win the previous election because of disunity. I have also heard that most of you would vote ‘skirt and blouse.’ I plead with you all to vote for the PC and me. We need development in Techiman South.”
