Ex-Black Stars captain, Stephen Appiah is said to be lacing his boots to contest the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat in the upcoming December 7, 2024 Parliamentary election.
Sources say he will be contesting as an independent candidate in a constituency that has been held by the governing New Patriotic Party since 1992.
The talented former footballer will be slugging it out with incumbent MP and New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate Lydia Seyram Alhassan, and National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dumelo.
It remains to be seen if Stephen Appiah can win the election which promises to be keenly contested.
