Speaker sacks Sefwi Wiawso MP Dr. Kwaku Afriyie out of Parliament for being rude
Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin has sacked MP for Sefwi Wiawso Dr. Kwaku Afriyie from the chamber over the nomination of two persons to the Supreme Court as justices by President Akufo-Addo.
The Speaker in reading the communication from the Presidency advised the House to take a decision on the required number of Justices the country will need.
The Former Nadowli-Kaleo MP advised the House to consider a legislation to place a cap on the number.
This advice was however challenged by the Sefwi Wiawso MP describing the action by the speaker as prejudicial.
This infuriated the Speaker consequently deployed the Marshalls to walk the MP out of the chamber for his rudeness.
