Police investigate KUMACA students’ assault on female
The Ghana Police Service has commenced an investigation into the assault of a female student by male students believed to be from Kumasi Academy Senior High School.
In a viral video, a number of young boys who appear to be students, are seen chasing the lady and insulting her.
Some of them could be seen hitting her with objects amidst jeers.
It is not immediately known why the female student was attacked.
The police in a statement issued on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 confirmed that they are looking into the case.
The police assured the public that “the perpetrators will be identified and arrested to face justice.”
