Paramount Chief of Elmina dances to King Paluta’s ‘Aseda’ at Edina Bakatue festival

The Paramount Chief of Elmina, Nana Kodwo Conduah VI, put on a lovely performance during the Edina Bakatue festival in Elmina.

When King Paluta’s popular song “Aseda” began to play during the procession, the chief got off his palanquin and started dancing.

With its emphasis on the festival’s cultural significance, the song elevated the festive mood.
Every year, the residents of Elmina celebrate the Edina Bakatue festival, which marks the start of the fishing season and asks for blessings for an abundance of food.
