Nana Adjei Baffuor Awuah elected as NPP’s Parliamentary Candidate for Manhyia South

Delegates in Manhyia South Constituency in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi have elected Legal Practitioner, Nana Adjei Baffuor Awuah as the party’s Parliamentary candidate for the December 7 Parliamentary election.

This follows the appointment of the constituency’s Member of Parliament (MP) Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh as the Running Mate to the party’s Flagbearer,  Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia.

Candidates that participated in the election include Nana Owusu Afriyie Agyemang Prempeh, the younger brother of sitting MP and Energy Minister; Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, James Owusu Boakye and Akwasi Coker Gyambibi.

After close of ballot Lawyer Nana Baffour Adjei Bawah won the election with 376 votes.

Nana Owusu Afriyie Prempeh secured 141 votes, James Boakye also had 7,  while Akwasi Coker Gyembibi, secured 2 votes.
