My past experience will guide my next marriage – Joyce Blessing
Gospel songstress, Joyce Blessing has stated that she still believes in love and marriage despite her past challenges.
In an interview on 3FM on September 3, 2024, Joyce Blessing shared that, although she has faced bitter experiences, she remains open to the idea of marrying again, describing it as a “beautiful thing.”
The award-winning artiste advised individuals to seek relationships that preserve their peace of mind rather than trying to overly please their partners.
“What I have been through and my past experience, I will use it to protect the new one that I’m going to enter. I think marriage is a beautiful thing, love is a beautiful thing.
“When you meet someone who understands you and loves you just as you are, you can be yourself every time, it’s very important,” she told Giovani Caleb.
Joyce Blessing and her ex-husband, Dave Joy who was also her former manager, ended their nearly decade-long marriage allegedly due to both parties engaging in extra-marital affairs.
The couple has three children together.
