Manifestos: NPP’s fleshy, NDC’s bony – Kandifo Inst. Dir. | Politics
The Executive Director of Kandifo Institute, Palgrave Boakye-Danquah, has described the 2020 manifesto of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) as more detailed than that of the biggest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to the Mr Boakye-Danquah, a thorough study of the manifestos of the two biggest parties in the country, shows that the NPP, for instance, has better policies for the aged, children and vulnerable people.
Mr Boakye-Danquah told CTV’s Anopa Dwabre Mu show on Wednesday, 9 September 2020 that between the two documents, Ghanaians are better off going for the governing party’s.
The NPP launched its manifesto almost a month ago.
The NDC launched its document on Monday, 7 September.
The two manifestos contain a plethora of promises for the electorate.
