Manhyia South: NPP to vet Parliamentary Candidate hopefuls today

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will today, Wednesday, July 10, 2024 vet four parliamentary candidate hopefuls who successfully filed their nomination forms for the upcoming Manhyia South constituency primary.

The party opened nominations on Monday, July 8, 2024, and closed filing on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.

Out of the six members who picked nomination forms, four successfully filed their nominations yesterday and are expected to undergo vetting today at the party’s constituency office.

The vetting committee is chaired by National First Vice Chairman, Smith Buttey Danquah.

The vetting and subsequent election have become necessary following the selection of the incumbent Member of Parliament for the area, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as Running mate to the NPP Flagbearer.
