I’ll go into farming when I retire from politics – Mahama

President-elect John Dramani Mahama has revealed his plans to pursue full-time farming upon his retirement from politics.

Mahama, who has always had a passion for farming, shared his intentions during an interview when he visited his Yapei and Busunu farms over the weekend, emphasising his deep connection to agriculture.

He highlighted his commitment to agriculture and his desire to return to his roots once his political career comes to an end.

Mahama noted that he would have been a full-time farmer if he did not go into politics.

“Farming is my life. I love it. I am sure if I didn’t go into politics I would be a full-time farmer. In any case, when I retire after this stint, of course, I am going to go into full-time farming.

“If you want to see me, you will have to come here unto the farm,” Mahama stated.
