I don’t have a son – Martha Ankomah insists
Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah has insisted she does not have a son.
According to her, a picture of her and a boy posted on social media got some people talking about her having a son, “but I want to use this platform to correct the notion; I have never been pregnant and I don’t have a son”.
She issued the disclaimer on Accra100.5 FM’s mid-morning Ayekoo Ayekoo hosted by Nana Romeo on Thursday, 9 December 2021.
“The boy in the said picture is the son of my sister and not my own son”, she said.
She was hopeful her reaction in recent times will put the matter to rest.
Miss Ankomah, who began her acting career at the National Theatre during the days of Fun World, a talent hunt programme in the early 1990s, explained that aside from acting, she can sing.
“I started singing at the Church of Pentecost “, she said, adding that she is a fan of gospel music.
Martha Ankomah is set to premier her new movie ‘Happy Surprise’ in January 2022 under December Productions.
