Ghanaians can’t wait to jubilate when Akufo-Addo leaves power – Concerned Drivers Association Chairman
The Chairman of the Concerned Drivers Association, William Osei has said his colleague drivers and Ghanaians in general cannot wait to see the back of President Akufo-Addo on 7th January 2025.
According to him, the Akufo-Addo government which has performed abysmally has plunged Ghanaians into serious economic hardship by mismanaging the economy, for which reason the citizens are eagerly counting down to President Akufo-Addo exit from power.
Speaking to Daakyehene Ofosu Agyeman, Host of New York-based Adinkra Radio, William Osei who has stepped out to campaign against the New Patriotic Party (NPP) retaining power in the December 7 general elections said, Ghanaians will have themselves to blame if they make the huge mistake of voting for the NPP to keep them in power for another four years.
“Dr. Bawumia is saying we should vote for you before he will cancel E-levy, we should vote for him before he abolishes Betting Tax, we should vote for him before he reduces electricity tariffs, but we should rather consider the implementation of the Free SHS policy and vote massively for him. Where have you heard this before?
“We voted for Nana Akufo-Addo in two elections based on the rolling out of the Free SHS programme. But Nana Akufo-Addo has disappointed us because he’s left us in economic crisis. We Taxi drivers use all our daily sales to buy fuel, hence we are not able to save. We will be doing ourselves a great disservice when we vote for NPP. We want John Mahama to come to power and fix the economy to make life more comfortable for Ghanaians once small,” William Osei stated.
