Fiifi Boafo appointed as Spokesperson for Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh
Fiifi Boafo, the Head of Corporate Affairs at Ghana Cocoa Board (Cocobod), has been appointed as the official spokesperson for Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) running mate to Vice President Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia who doubles as the Flagbearer for the Party.
According to reliable sources, Boafo will be responsible for managing all communication activities for the running mate.
With decades of experience in the media industry, Boafo is expected to leverage his expertise to effectively communicate the party’s message.
It is unclear whether he will relinquish his position at COCOBOD as the campaign season intensifies.
The appointment is part of the NPP’s strategy to strengthen their campaign team ahead of the running mate’s official unveiling on July 9, 2024, in the Ashanti Region.
Further appointments are expected to be made to support Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh’s campaign team.
