Eight more deaths take Ghana’s COVID-19 toll to 199 as tally hits 39,075
Eight more patients have died in Ghana from COVID-19, taking the national toll to 199.
So far, the country has recorded a total of 39,075.
Some 574 new cases were recently confirmed.
They were reported in the lab on 2 August 2020.
According to the Ghana Health Service’s website, a total of 35,563 clinical recoveries have also been recorded with all of them discharged.
The current active caseload is 3,313.
Seven of them are in a critical condition, five on ventilators, and 23 in severe condition
So far, Ghana has conducted a total of 405,817 tests.
