COBAANA to raise funds for construction of dialysis center in Bono and Ahafo Regions on Aug. 31
The Council of Bono-Ahafo Associations of North America(COBAANA) is set to hold a fundraising dinner dance to raise funds for the building of a dialysis center in the Bono and Ahafo Regions on Saturday August 31, 2024.
The event will be held at the Holiday Inn Newark International Airport 160 Frontage Road from7pm-2am.
The theme of the dinner dance is: “The Health Of Our People Is Our Concern.”
Prominent Chiefs and personalities who have thrown their weight behind the event include: Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II, Dormaahene, Nana Kwame Baffoe, Nkoranzaman Hene, Nana Bofobene V, Dwenem manhene, Nana Kwasi Bomsompra, Omanhene of Goaso Traditional Area, and businessman, Dr. Nick Danso, CEO of Ghana Link Network Services.
Ahead of the fund raising dinner dance, a ferry ride to the statute of Liberty, Ellis Islands and COBAANA Youth group got talent will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, morning.
On Sunday, September 1, a picnic, (food, fun games and music) will be held at Elizabeth Avenue & Meeker Ave, Newark, NJ 07112. Gate fee: $100.
Organizers of the event are calling on all citizens from the Bono and Ahafo Regions to support a worthy support.
