Agyapadie document not fabricated – Mahama
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has said he believes the contentious Agyapadie document is authetic as everything stated in the document has been implemented.
According to reports, the Agyapadie document outlines the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) complex sche to appropriate state property.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has dismissed the document as forgery intended to damage his political reputation.
But speaking at a durbar with chiefs and queen mothers at the Bawku Naba’s Palace in the Upper East Region as part of his four-day campaign tour, Mahama insisted the document is real and its plans are currently being rolled out.
“Recently, there was an issue about a document called Agyapadie. They said it was fabricated. But even if it is fabricated, the implementation is not fabricated because everything that is written in that document has been implemented.
“So if really somebody sat and fabricated that document, then the person can really read the minds of people. Because they could have written that document and read the minds of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his family that this is what they were going to do, that person is a proper creative writer. Because everything in that document has been implemented. And so the implementation cannot be fabricated,” John Mahama stated.
