COP26: Incorporate more female perspectives to achieve SDG7 – Samira Bawumia

Mrs Samira Bawumia, wife of Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has called on the global community to incorporate more female perspectives in the design and implementation of clean energy solutions.
The wife of the Vice-President, was speaking at the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 7 Energy Access event, organised by the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), ENERGIA and Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNet) at COP26, currently being held in Glasgow, Scotland.
According to the wife of the Vice-President, incorporating more female perspectives will enable the world achieve the SDG 7 by the year 2030.
SDG 7 is one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations (UN) General Assembly geared towards ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.
