Journalist Godwin Asare-Bediako released on bail by OSP
Gordon Asare-Bediako, a well-known journalist with Wontumi TV, has been released on bail after being detained by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).
He was reportedly detained on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. The OSP has yet to state the reason for his arrest.
However, reports suggest that he was taken into custody following allegations he made against the Special Prosecutor.
It is alleged that the journalist claimed Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng requested a private jet from the erstwhile Akufo-Addo government for his personal use.
The outspoken journalist was granted bail set at five million Ghana Cedis, with sureties, by the OSP.
