A/R: Death toll from Odumase explosion rises to three
The death toll from the explosion at Odumase, near Konongo in the Asante Akyem Central Municipality of the Ashanti Region, has risen to three.
Two additional victims succumbed to their injuries after one person was confirmed dead following the incident, which occurred on Wednesday night.
Several others, including firefighters, sustained varying degrees of injuries.
Authorities confirm that the injured fire officers and other affected civilians have been treated and discharged, while about five victims remain on admission.
