Kofi Adomah shot in his eye during firing of musketry, undergoing urgent treatment
Kofi Adomah Nwanwani, a well-known journalist, is in Dubai undergoing emergency medical care to recover vision in one eye.
Last week, there was an unintentional shooting at a burial in Dormaa, Bono Region.
The mishap happened as some leaders were practicing musketry during the customary gathering.
Sources close to Kofi TV CEO Kofi Adomah said that while he was shifting positions, gunpowder from one of the just fired guns hit his face.
He lost the ability to see when the incident severely damaged one of his eyes.
It also caused blurry vision in the journalist’s other eye.
Before being sent to Dubai for specialized care, he had initial medical care in Ghana.
“He is currently in Dubai trying to restore his hazy eye. However, it appears that the other one is unable to see again,” the source continued.
