Adinkra Multimedia CEO expresses gratitude to patrons for successful organisation of Adinkra Heroes Night Excellence Awards 2024
The CEO of Adinkra Multimedia New York, Mr. Patrick Adofo (DJ Gem), organisers of the Adinkra Heroes Night Excellence Awards 2024 has expressed how thankful he is to patrons of the show for their support in making the event successful.
In an interview after the event, Mr. Patrick Adofo acknowledged the contribution of the patrons in ensuring the success of the event held in New York, United States of America on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
“Every year, this is what we do, we entertain the community. I was confident that the people will come out in their numbers to attend the event because support is always given to a good course. I am really grateful to the audience that turned up.
“I am also grateful to my team that organised the event for putting together a great event. They really worked hard to pull the event through. Every year we organise two events, and anyone that organises an event and seeks our support, we’ll do our bit to make it successful.”
The glamorous, musical, and joyous occasion was well patronised and brought together lots of Ghanaians including dignitaries from other cities to have fan and celebrate with the awardees.
The event right from the red carpet session, through the presentation of awards to musical performance was well coordinated and hugely successful.
The awards scheme was established to honour deserving Ghanaians and Ghanaian associations that have achieved success in various professions and to recognise their contributions back home.
The event co-emceed by MC Ogee Vincent Jerry Ogee of New York-based Adinkra Multimedia, organisers of the event saw some personalities and associations honoured in various categories like sports, entertainment, entrepreneurship, health.
Among the awardees were: Ghana Health workers Association, Connecticut, which picked up the Heroes Health care Association of the year.
The Community Service Icon of the Year went to Mr. Peter Owusu aka China Man.
Veteran actress, Vivian Achor was also honoured.
Dr. Fiona Brown was honoured with the Heroes Humanitarian Icon of the Year award.
Gospel Icon of the Year went to, Becky Osei of Plush Media , Organisers of Shakinah Experience.
Heroes Business Icon of the Year went to Dr. Eric Pope Ackah who is the CEO of LolliCash, a leading transmitting payment technology which helps in sending and receiving of money from one country to another. LolliCash was the headline sponsor of the Adinkra Heroes Night Excellence Awards event.
Gospel musician Ernest Opoku rendered a memorable experience leading the patrons into a session of worship and taking them to the throne of grace with some of his hit tracks.
Legendary Hiplife musician, Ex-Doe who also received an award gave the audience a great performance of some of his hitsongs including “Ex-Doe aba”, “Daavi” and “Comfort” leaving them with nostalgic feeling.
The moment most of the patrons were waiting for come when the headline artist for the event, Legendary Ghanaian highlife musician Kojo Antwi, took to the stage.
Most of the attendees were literally swept off their feet when the headline artist Kojo Antwi aka “Mr Music Man” churned his hits songs back-to back.
The splendid and spectacular performances saw the audience singing along as his energetic stage presence and authentic music resonated with fans across generations.
Patrons have commended the organisers for a well-put together show which will leave them with a memorable experience for a long time.
