Gold Coast Medical Foundation wins 2024 policy educational organizational award

Gold Coast Medical Foundation has been crowned winners of the 2024 policy educational organizational award.

This award is in recognition of the Foundation’s medical volunteering services they provide in Ghana. The award was given at a colourful ceremony in the United States of America.

To ensure sustained access quality healthcare, Gold Coast Foundation donates medical equipment and supplies to some of Ghana’s most underfunded hospitals and healthcare facilities thereby reinforcing the comprehensive and a sustainable healthcare delivery system.

By fostering team work across the different healthcare disciplines, Gold coast Medical foundation ensures the provision of comprehensive sustainable healthcare and enriches the large experience of allied health professionals and esteemed volunteers.

Moreover, the programme facilitates a valued exchange of cultural insights, broad understanding of how economic conditions, educational opportunities and community engagement can influence health.

Participants in the US and Ghana as collaborative healthcare teams enhance healthcare results and their understanding of the intricate relationship between person and environment.

An Executive Board member of the organisation in receiving the award, said this recognition is a testament to the collective effort of every single individual who has dedicated their time and experise.

She acknowledged the contributions some family members including Dr. Quaicoo and Kwamena Boagyan, Executive Board members, staff and all partners who have shared the Foundation’s vision.
