No actor in NPP’s corruption enterprise will be spared – Mahama

John Mahama, the former president, has slammed the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) for what he terms as unprecedented levels of corruption.

He says there is a lot to be desired about the way the Akufo-Addo-led government is handling the country.

Addressing the media in Accra on Sunday July 7, 2024, Mr Mahama said “What we have now, obviously never and should never be a yardstick for governance. My goal is to launch a renewed fight against corruption.”

The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) served notice that a future NDC government will probe all corrupt activities that has transpired under the current Akufo-Addo led government.

“…and Ghanaians can be assured that drastic steps will be taken to punish the corrupt officials and the accomplices in this present administration. No actor in this NPP corruption enterprise will be spared and we will also take action to repossess what has been unlawfully stolen from the Ghanaian people.”

He pledged to ensure that his appointees are accountable at all times.
