Two Ghanaian pilgrims die in Saudi Arabia during 2024 Hajj
Two Ghanaian Hajj pilgrims are reported to have died at this year’s annual Islamic pilgrimage, Hajj at Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
The deceased, are said to have embarked on the pilgrimage from the Savannah region, hoping to complete the mandatory rite of Hajj.
But they passed away on Sunday, June 9, and Wednesday, June 12, respectively.
It is not immediately known what caused their death.
More than four thousand Ghanaian pilgrims are currently in Saudi Arabia to perform the annual Hajj ritual.
