Sarkodie to headline AMBUSA 2024 event in New Jersey August 3
Multiple-award winning rapper, Michael Owusu Addo known better known as Sarkodie is set to be the headline artiste at the AMBUSA Experience 2024 event in the United States of America.
The African Most Beautiful event is scheduled for 3rd August 2024, at the Ritz Theatre, New Jersey, 1148E Jersey St, Elizabeth, NJ07201.
The event which from all indication will be sold out will be a night of rich African Culture, Arts & Music.
It promises to be a fun-parked event which will leave great memories on the minds of the patrons.
Sarkodie, is one of Africa’s most celebrated rappers. Known for his fast-paced flow and ability to blend Twi (a Ghanaian language) with English, Sarkodie has won numerous awards and is considered a pioneer in the Ghanaian music scene.
His album called “Rapperholic”, which was released in 2012, helped Sarkodie secure his first BET nomination, and a subsequent win in the Best International Act category.
The musician, consequently, became the first rapper in Africa to win a BET award, and also the first Ghanaian to do so.
Sarkodie would, again, win a BET award in the Best International Flow category in 2019. He is also the most nominated African rapper in BET awards.
