Akufo-Addo appoints Osafo-Maafo’s son as Director General of SSNIT
President Nana Akufo-Addo has appointed Kofi Bosompem Osafo-Maafo, as the Director-General of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT).
This follows the termination of Mr John Ofori Tenkorang’s appointment as Director-General.
A letter signed by Nana Asante Bediatuo, Secretary to the President communicating Mr Tenkorang’s dismissal, directed him to hand over his office to Mr Osafo-Maafo not later than close of business on Monday, April 15.
Mr Osafo-Maafo until now, was the Deputy Director-General of SSNIT in charge of Investments.
