4-year-old cured leper visiting me was my best Christmas gift – Bawumia

In a touching moment, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia expressed his happiness on Facebook, describing it as his most cherished Christmas gift.

Priscilla, a four-year-old cured leper from the Weija leprosarium, whom Dr Bawumia sponsored for medical treatment in Italy, visited him at his home to express her gratitude.

“I got my best Christmas gift yesterday when Priscilla, a four-year-old cured leper from the Weija leprosarium whom I sponsored for medical treatment of her amputated leg in Italy returned to Ghana and paid me a visit at home to thank me and show that she can now walk with her new leg. To God be the glory,” Dr Bawumia wrote.

Priscilla, now walking confidently with her new prosthetic leg after undergoing treatment for her amputation, visited the Vice President to showcase her remarkable progress.

Her visit emphasized the significant impact of Dr. Bawumia’s unwavering support and generosity. The Vice President’s heartfelt message struck a chord with many, highlighting the transformative power of compassion and the positive difference it can bring to people’s lives.
