2024 elections: My victory speech is ready – Independent Presidential Candidate Kofi Koranteng
An independent presidential candidate for the 2024 election, Kofi Koranteng, has disclosed that he already has his victory speech prepared ahead of the December 7, 2024 presidential election.
According to him, he wrote the speech about three years ago.
Speaking to Daakyehene Ofosu Agyemang, host of the New York-based Adinkra Radio, Kofi Koranteng, an entrepreneur turned politician, said he is patiently waiting to deliver it to the Ghanaian citizenry on January 7, 2025, when he will be sworn in as the new President of Ghana.
“I have my victory speech already prepared because I am confident that Ghanaians will elect me as President. If I read just a small portion to you, you’ll get to know the direction I want to take this country and the changes that will come with me in office as President.”
He said under his presidency, Ghana will flourish economically after he implements his bold policies that will turn the economy around.
“When I become President, we’ll experience the largest exodus of Ghanaians from, abroad to Ghana. I will implement pragmatic policies which will cause an economic turnaround of the economy. Systems will work and the rule of law will be upheld. Living conditions will be better and Ghanaians abroad will love to come home.”
Ghanaians will go to the polls on December 7 to elect a President and 276 Parliamentarians to govern the country for the next four years.
Though Kofi Koranteng is confident of winning the election, the contest is expected to be keenly contested between the two largest political parties—the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The NPP is poised to win the election and continue with its transformative agenda, while the NDC has vowed to wrest power, accusing the NPP of mismanaging the economy and promising to reset the country.
